HEB 10:1-10
Brothers and sisters:
Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come,
and not the very image of them, it can never make perfect
those who come to worship by the same sacrifices
that they offer continually each year.
Otherwise, would not the sacrifices have ceased to be offered,
since the worshipers, once cleansed, would no longer
have had any consciousness of sins?
But in those sacrifices there is only a yearly remembrance of sins,
for it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats
take away sins.
For this reason, when he came into the world, he said:
Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
in burnt offerings and sin offerings you took no delight.
Then I said, As is written of me in the scroll,
Behold, I come to do your will, O God.
First he says, Sacrifices and offerings,
burnt offerings and sin offerings,
you neither desired nor delighted in.
These are offered according to the law.
Then he says, Behold, I come to do your will.
He takes away the first to establish the second.
By this "will," we have been consecrated
through the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Gospel MK 3:31-35
The mother of Jesus and his brothers arrived at the house.
Standing outside, they sent word to Jesus and called him.
A crowd seated around him told him,
"Your mother and your brothers and your sisters
are outside asking for you."
But he said to them in reply,
"Who are my mother and my brothers?"
And looking around at those seated in the circle he said,
"Here are my mother and my brothers.
For whoever does the will of God
is my brother and sister and mother."

Hermanos: Puesto que la ley de la antigua alianza no contiene la imagen real de los bienes definitivos, sino solamente una sombra de ellos, es absolutamente incapaz, por medio de los sacrificios, siempre iguales y ofrecidos sin cesar año tras año, de hacer perfectos a quienes intentan acercarse a Dios. Porque si la ley fuera capaz de ello, ciertamente tales sacrificios hubieran dejado de ofrecerse, puesto que los que practican ese culto, de haber sido purificados para siempre, no tendrían ya conciencia de pecado. Por el contrario, con esos sacrificios se renueva cada año la conciencia de los pecados, porque es imposible que pueda borrarlos la sangre de toros y machos cabríos.
Por eso, al entrar al mundo, Cristo dijo, conforme al salmo: No quisiste víctimas ni ofrendas; en cambio, me has dado un cuerpo. No te agradaron los holocaustos ni los sacrificios por el pecado; entonces dije –porque a mí se refiere la Escritura –: "Aquí estoy, Dios mío; vengo para hacer tu voluntad".
Comienza por decir: No quisiste víctimas ni ofrendas, no te agradaron los holocaustos ni los sacrificios por el pecado –siendo así que eso es lo que pedía la ley –; y luego añade: "Aquí estoy, Dios mío; vengo para hacer tu voluntad".
Con esto, Cristo suprime los antiguos sacrificios, para establecer el nuevo. Y en virtud de esta voluntad, todos quedamos santificados por la ofrenda del cuerpo de Jesucristo, hecha una vez por todas.

Esperé en el Señor con gran confianza;
él se inclinó hacia mí y escuchó mis plegarias.

Sacrificios y ofrendas no quisiste,
abriste, en cambio, mis oídos a tu voz.

He anunciado tu justicia
en la gran asamblea;
no he cerrado mis labios:
tú lo sabes, Señor.

No callé tu justicia, antes bien, proclamé tu lealtad y tu auxilio.
Tu amor y tu lealtad no los he ocultado
a la gran asamblea.

Mc 3, 31-35
En aquel tiempo, llegaron a donde estaba Jesús, su madre y sus parientes; se quedaron fuera y lo mandaron llamar. En torno a él estaba sentada una multitud, cuando le dijeron: "Ahí fuera están tu madre y tus hermanos, que te buscan".
Él les respondió: "¿Quién es mi madre y quiénes son mis hermanos?" Luego, mirando a los que estaban sentados a su alrededor, dijo: "Éstos son mi madre y mis hermanos. Porque el que cumple la voluntad de Dios, ése es mi hermano, mi hermana y mi madre".
