Acedia

One of the sins against charity.

From the Catechism 2094: "Acedia or spiritual sloth goes so far as to refuse the joy that comes from God and to be repelled by divine goodness." 

The devil, tempts everyone with acedia so that we dont want to pray, nor go to be the Blessed Sacrament. Instead, we want to DO things. This way we really block God and stay in control.  Consenting to acedia is a sin against the ove of God, against the First Commandment.
